This is an excellent example of a popular Gillette safety razor. It is a Fat Handle Tech. Also known as a Pre-war Tech. They were produced from about 1938 to 1945. It is reported to be a mild shaver, but perhaps slightly more aggressive than the later techs. The fat handle is hollow, so it is not heavy and has a nice balance. This particular razor has been restored & refinished in Antique Bronze Cerakote. Every safety razor purchased comes with two free safety razor blades to get you started.
